Kannonau "s/t" (2005)
Misty Circles Records

5 tracks that last for about 20 minutes contain
this m-cd of the Italian band Kannonau. The start of the cd is really
powerful, with the song "Respice Finem", a dark neofolk track with a
fast rhythm and the appropriate atmosphere. Next comes "Third level",
which follows the path of Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio ….In the third song
named "Tragedia d'amore e di morte" things start changing! Italian
lyrics taken from "Contemplazione Della Morte" of Gabriele D'Annunzio
(1863-1937), Italian writer strongly influenced by Friedrich
Nietzsche, hero in the wars at the beginning of 20th century, famous
also for the occupation of city Fiume for some months and president of
the Italian Royal Academy in 1937, with recitations, stressed and
aggressive ambient/industrial atmosphere, really great! In the same
style but less aggressive and more folk is the next song, while the cd
is closing with the "L'eterna donna" an ambient/industrial track. Even
if I think that the original copies are sold out, it worth to contact
them since it is a very good work and I think something can be
